THE MURDER HOTEL: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – The conclusion was shocking and sad, but despite ‘guessing’ most of the villains I missed one aspect which made it satisfying and not too easy on amateur detectives. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE CAIRNCROFT DETECTIVE AGENCY: AMAZON.COM REVIEWER – The Cairncroft Detective Agency is Book 2 in a wonderful new cozy series by A J A Gardiner. I love the characters of Samantha and Daisy. They own a hotel and host a murder mystery weekend and a mystery during the week. Daisy is dating Terry, but, when his father falls down the stairs, is it an accident or murder? I thought that the mystery was interesting and well written and the author sprinkled clues perfectly. I thought having Daisy dating the victim’s son put an interesting twist to the story. I can’t wait to read book 3, Murder and Mayhem. I believe that if you enjoy cozy mysteries, you will want to read this excellent series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MURDER & MAYHEM AT THE CAIRNCROFT HOTEL: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – This is the third book in the series, and can be read as a standalone. Although I would suggest reading the others, to get to know the characters more. This is one of those books you curl up with, and enjoy from the very first page to the last. The book has a very captivating storyline, and in parts humours, it also has a great set of characters, and keeps you guessing all the way through. The Cairncroft detective agency are investigating a number of things, that have gone missing in the hotel. Also some suspicious deaths need investigating, which as usual land up with more than they anticipated. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and very much look forward to more in the series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MURDER AT THE CAIRNCROFT FAIR: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – The Carnies are in town! Gardiner has done it again – another fun, humorous and yet intriguing mystery with the dynamic duo, Sam and Daisy. A kidnapping, a murder, a missing person but all the loose ends tie together to make an exciting case. Daisy is the best – I wish I had a bestie like that, or else, I wish I WAS a bestie like that! Good read, more please! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DASTARDLY DOING ON ALLHALLOWS EVE: BOOKSIRENS REVIEWER – Sam, Daisy, and a story set at Halloween – can it get any better?
I loved this book with its wonderful humour and all its twists. Highly recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

YULETIDE IS MURDER AT THE CAIRNCROFT HOTEL: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – This was a delightful read. Knucklebitingly thrilling and hilarious in equal measure. Daisy is amazing and truly insightful but at the same time, I am surprised that Sam hasn’t yet strangled her after all the scrapes she is pulled into by Daisy. A really riveting read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MURDER AT SEA: GOODREADS REVIEWER – I loved the suspense, the action, and the characters in this book, but most of all I loved the humour. I smiled, snorted, and laughed out loud many times. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DI JONES – THE MAZE MURDERER: GOODREADS REVIEWER – A new series from one of my favourite authors and let me tell you, it is as good as all the others. I love that it is connected to Daisy and Sam in some way and the crossover and sharing of characters is great. I do like Tara, intelligent, feisty and brave and her team who are loyal and hard-working. The mystery is cleverly written (as always) and keep me guessing until the end; although many a time it makes me believe that I have sussed it, only to find that nope, there’s more to it than that. I am really looking forward to seeing and reading more of Tara and the gang. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

ADCI JONES – DEADLY EMBRACE: GOODREADS REVIEWER – An undercover office nearly lost his life during a drug deal when the boss learnt that a copper was amidst his crew. But thanks to his quick thinking, he was not shot, but someone else was. Undercover work being always dangerous, it became imperative that the leak was identified and plugged, especially when the top brass was under suspicion. I cannot understand why the TV channels and the film industry have not discovered AJA Gardiner’s books yet. They are so good and would certainly make excellent exciting films. Clever and original, these books are totally unputdownable. Imaginative and well written, fantastic read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DCI JONES – DADDY’S BOY: GOODREADS REVIEWER – The DCI Jones series is one of the best series around. A.J.A Gardiner is a first-class storyteller, “Daddy’s Boy” is a prime example. The story is fascinating, with an ingenious, fast-moving plot and stunning twists. I love the characters, especially how clever Tara and Daisy are, and I can hardly wait for book 4! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DCI JONES – THE HITMAN: GOODREADS REVIEWER”Twist and turn and twist again, and I am not talking about dance steps, but the latest DCI Tara Jones mystery. Just when you think “Ah, that’s what it’s all about”, AJA Gardiner pulls the rug from under your feet and surprise, you are wrong again, which is just the frustrating way I like my mysteries!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE CON WOMAN – KIDNAP IN CANNES: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – Why isn’t this a movie? This would make an absolutely brilliant movie. It’s full of action, fast paced and cons and twists within cons and twists. What a rollercoaster of a ride this is and what an absolute pleasure to read. I think you can tell that I really enjoyed this book! So cleverly written and full of fun and great ideas, I cannot recommend this enough. Really looking forward to the next one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE CON WOMAN – THE SCAM: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – A great book. You are captured from the very start, into a fast paced book, full of action. Dawn and Roger seem to have more lives than a cat and are not afraid to put their lives on the line. They seem to work well as agents with I.C.E but like to add a few scams of their own, to the job. This is a gripping storyline and plot, with great characters, twists and turns, it’s full of action, with a little humour added in. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this from the beginning, to the end. I look forward to the next one in the series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE CON WOMAN – THE BLUFF BOOKSIRENS REVIEWER – Losing their mentor really knocked the siblings for 6 and they were ready to thrown in the towel and give it all up. But it was not that simple, especially when there are others who depend on them. And a brutal execution of Marcel, leaving their 2 young children as witnesses bring the siblings out of their funk and back to work. I love this series! Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! What more can I say. Waiting impatiently for the next one ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

EYES UP: AMAZON UK REVIEWER – great fun read. I have zero interest in optometry, I’ve never worn glasses, but this book has been a great read. I’ve chuckled my way through it at the oddities of patients and life in general. Definitely recommended for a nice easy read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
