Hi – I’m Alistair Gardiner, writer. Thanks for visiting my website – it’s not long up (EDIT at 21/12/24 it is now, but I’m too busy writing to make it the all-singing spectacle it should be!!!!) so forgive me for being brief. As time goes on, I hope we can get to know one another better on here – but meantime, I’m the first to admit it’s all pretty basic! (But all my own work!) (I write better than I build websites…) (EDIT at 21/12/24 Looking more and more like this is good as it gets!!!!!!!!!!! But I do keep it up to date, as well as regularly adding to “Books I’ve Read”.) (Well, fairly regularly…)
I now write write four series – the Sam & Daisy murder mysteries, Dawn & Roger’s Con Woman stories, and Mark Rogers, hapless optometrist. (I used to be one of those – an optometrist, not… ok, matter of opinion…) Number four, the new DI Jones Police Procedural stories, are… well, I think they might be my best yet! Three out – next imminent. Judge for yourself – you can see them all on the “MY BOOKS” tab.
I live in Scotland with my partner and our dogs (and hens) – since retiring from the wonderful but too-increasingly red-tape encumbered world of eyes I have finally been able to fulfil my lifetime ambition – to be a writer. (Did I, though? You are the judge, dear reader!)
